Our Team

Thaina Banatte, LMSW

My name is Thaina Banatte and I am a licensed master social worker who works with adults, children, families and couples navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, identity shifts, relational challenges and the emotional weight of caregiving, parenting, and high responsibility roles. My therapeutic approach is relational, insight-oriented, and grounded in attachment theory. I believe that symptoms make sense when we understand the emotional context they developed in, and that meaningful change happens through a combination of self-understanding, emotional safety, and practical tools. I integrate psychodynamic therapy with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and strengths-based strategies to help clients build resilience and clarity in both their inner world and daily life. My goal is to create a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space where clients are not only comfortable but feel seen and challenged in equal measure. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or surface-level coping alone—it is about slowing down, making meaning, and developing a more compassionate and empowered relationship with yourself.
