Our Team

Terry Branch LMSW

My name is Terry Branch, and I am a Black, queer, and nonbinary social worker. I
earned my bachelors degree in Psychology from Wellesley College in 2015 and went on
to receive my Master of Social Work from Adelphi University. In 2019, I obtained my New
York license as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, as well as
individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns. Working with
people from many different backgrounds has deepened my passion for empowering
clients and collaborating with them to develop treatment goals that are personally
meaningful—not just goals that look good on paper.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, client-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-
informed. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals from marginalized
communities and helping them cultivate greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and
empathy.
I believe that one of my most important roles as a therapist is to create a safe,
nonjudgmental, and welcoming space where you can show up as your authentic self.
Together, we will work to strengthen your ability to navigate lifes challenges in ways that
align with your values, support your long-term goals, and promote your overall well-
being. I also strive to help clients recognize opportunities to advocate for themselves,
make empowered decisions, and confidently express their thoughts and needs.
Together, we will work to build healthy coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation
skills, and foster lasting personal growth.
