Richard Loutfi, LMSW
I consider myself a warm, strengths-based mental health counselor who provides supportive, goal-focused therapy via telehealth. I strive to help adults navigate stress, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, and recovery, with a focus on building sustainable coping skills, self-awareness, and confidence.
My style is collaborative, practical, and empathetic. I work to meets you where you are and work with you to create realistic strategies you can use in everyday life. I integrate evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. My clients have often described sessions as grounded, encouraging, and action-oriented, with space to process emotions while also making measurable progress at their pace.
I have experience supporting diverse clients across hospital and community settings and bring special understanding of high-stress roles, including veterans and first responders. I am also fluent in Levantine Arabic.
