Our Team

Marcus Galloway LMSW

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Silberman School of Social
work at Hunter College. In my practice, I use a biopsychosocial approach in collaboration
with clients to better understand biological, psychological and environmental factors that
may create barriers to success, happiness and quality of life.
I have experience working with incarcerated youth, adults, couples, children with
intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals experiencing homelessness and
domestic violence survivors. Throughout my career I have practiced Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Trauma Informed care and
Mindfulness to support clients. While understanding that each client is different I am
open to the above modalities as well as any other intervention that will be useful
throughout the process of self-actualization.
I deeply value the importance of building a rapport with you as you begin your
therapeutic journey. It is not easy to choose yourself and I am here to support you in the
process
