Growing up in the Philippines, I witnessed firsthand the harsh realities of poverty and its toll on individuals and families. This experience ignited a deep-seated passion to help others overcome adversity. I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the people at their worst and finding ways to pull them out of their darkness. Having personally experienced the depths of despair as well as the hopelessness a person can face, I aim to champion on instilling hope and finding directions for others to find their way. For six years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals grappling with a variety of mental health issues and struggles. Additionally, my year of experience in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) field has further deepened my understanding of the complexities of addiction. I’ve also had the privilege of supporting family members who have struggled with mental health issues, which has deepened my empathy and understanding. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, utilizing a range of techniques including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalytic Therapy, and Constructivist Psychotherapy to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.
